FAQs
Is SCHESIR After Dark Chicken Pate suitable for kittens?

Can I mix this wet food with dry kibble?
Yes, you can mix SCHESIR After Dark Chicken Pate with dry kibble. However, be sure to adjust the total daily food intake to prevent overfeeding. Consult your veterinarian for the most appropriate feeding ratio for your cat.
What is the shelf life of an unopened pouch?
The shelf life of an unopened pouch is typically indicated by the best-before date printed on the packaging. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
How much food should I give my cat per day?
Feeding quantities vary based on your cat's weight, age, and activity level. Refer to the 'Feeding Guide' section in this guide for recommended daily amounts for cats of different weights (e.g., 4kg, 6kg, 8kg) and adjust as needed.

Is this product safe for cats with kidney disease?
This product is a complete and balanced food, but specific dietary needs for conditions like kidney disease should be discussed with your veterinarian. They can advise on the suitability of this food or recommend a specialized diet.

Troubleshooting
Cat refuses to eat the pâté
Try serving the food at room temperature. You can also gently warm it slightly or mix a small amount with a familiar food to encourage acceptance. Ensure no other strong-smelling foods are near the feeding area.
Product expires quickly after opening
Ensure the opened pouch is sealed tightly or transferred to an airtight container before refrigerating. Always adhere to the 48-hour consumption limit after opening.
Cat shows signs of digestive upset (e.g., vomiting, diarrhea)
While this is a complete and balanced formula, individual sensitivities can occur. Gradually introduce the food over a week if transitioning from another diet. If upset persists, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
Food appears dry or chunky
The product is designed with a ground pâté base and separate chunks of meat. This is normal. If the texture is too firm, a small amount of warm water can be stirred in to create a softer consistency.
