Full details
Drum Set Timbales are a space-saving way to integrate authentic Timbale sounds to your drum set. They feature a diameter of 12" and a shell depth of 4", with a Black Nickel finish. A clamp is included for all common rod diameters of 9.5mm to 12.5mm. Combining the drum set with traditional timbales has become the norm rather than the exception for many musical styles including reggae, songo, mambo, and cha cha cha. They provide authentic sounds and distinct tones with a more defined pitch than double-headed drum kit toms. The LP Drum Set Timbale features shallower shells constructed from high carbon plated-steel. Tubular lugs allow ample space for cascara playing. The reduced-depth shells encourage a wider variety of placement options. The LP Drum Set Timbale emits clear, pitched tones that segue nicely into the drummer's high toms, while the 12" head diameter occupies less real estate, allowing placement where regular timbales would not fit. Steel shells provide maximum sustain, brightness, and clarity and will stand up to heavy sticks, thanks in part to standard flanged drum set rims. LP Drum set Timbales are offered individually.
