FAQs

Are these baskets stackable?

They are best used side-by-side or nested when empty, rather than stacked while full.

What are the exact dimensions?

The small basket is approximately 14H x 22W x 21D cm, and the medium basket is approximately 15.5H x 30W x 25D cm.

Can I use these in a bathroom?

Yes, but ensure the room is well-ventilated to prevent moisture from affecting the natural seagrass.

Is the lid removable?

The lid on the larger basket is hinged, meaning it is permanently attached to the frame.

How do I remove dust from the woven gaps?

Use a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low-suction setting.

Troubleshooting

Basket looks slightly crooked or out of alignment.

Gently manipulate the metal frame by hand to reshape it, as the natural fibers have some flexibility.

The basket color does not perfectly match the website photo.

Natural seagrass varies in tone depending on the harvest; this is a characteristic of organic materials rather than a defect.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Durable metal frame provides excellent shape retention
  • Natural aesthetic complements a wide range of interior designs
  • Includes a convenient hinged lid on the larger size
  • Compact footprints allow for use on shelves or inside cabinets

Cons

  • Natural material variations mean colors may differ from product photography
  • Not intended for heavy-duty industrial storage
  • Lid is only included on the larger basket, not the small one

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These baskets arrive ready for immediate use; no assembly is required. To maintain the appearance of the seagrass, follow these care guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Dust the baskets regularly with a soft, dry cloth or a brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner.
  • Moisture Control: Keep the baskets away from direct water sources or extreme humidity to prevent potential mold growth or degradation of the natural fibers.
  • Weight Capacity: Avoid overstuffing the baskets, as exceeding their structural capacity may cause the metal frame to warp or the woven seagrass to loosen.
