Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting Up Your Watch:
- Time Adjustment: Pull the crown out to the second position. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the desired time. Push the crown back in fully to start the watch.
- Date Adjustment: Pull the crown out to the first position. Rotate the crown to set the correct date. Avoid adjusting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism. Push the crown back in fully.
Compatibility: This watch is a standalone accessory. Its 20 mm band width allows for potential strap changes with compatible 20mm straps, though the unique check-embossed rubber strap is a signature feature.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and sapphire crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For the rubber strap, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Water Exposure: While water-resistant to 50 meters, avoid wearing the watch during activities like swimming, diving, or showering, which can expose it to higher pressures or prolonged immersion than it's designed for. Always ensure the crown is pushed in completely after setting.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields to prolong battery life and maintain accuracy.
- Battery Replacement: The quartz movement requires a battery. When the watch stops, have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.
