Setup, Compatibility & Care
To get the most out of your Seawhite Sketchbook, treat it as a dedicated field tool.
- Compatibility: The paper performs best with felt-tip pens, fineliners, pencils, and light watercolor washes. Avoid using heavy gouache or thick acrylic impasto, as the smooth paper surface is optimized for detail rather than heavy texture.
- Care: Keep the book in a dedicated pocket or sleeve to prevent the poplin cover from fraying over time. Since the book is wiro-bound, try not to stack heavy objects on top of it, as the wire coils can become deformed if crushed, which may interfere with the smooth turning of pages.
- Storage: Store flat in a dry area to ensure the paper remains crisp and prevents moisture absorption from the air, which can affect its archival quality.
