A feeler gauge is used to measure the gap between two parts.
Always store the feeler gauge in its case to protect the blades from damage and to keep them organized.
No, this feeler gauge is designed for imperial measurements only.
Wipe the blades with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners.
If a blade is bent, it will affect the accuracy of your measurements. Consider replacing the set.
The blade sizes are clearly marked for easy identification.
Ensure you are using the correct blade size. Do not force the blade. If the gap is very tight, try a thinner blade first.
Check the blades for any bends or damage. Make sure the blades are clean. If the issue persists, the gauge may need to be replaced.
This feeler gauge set requires no setup. Simply open the case, select the appropriate blade size for your measurement, and insert it into the gap. Ensure the blade fits snugly, but not forced.
This set is only compatible with imperial measurements. Ensure you are using it with components that require these types of measurements.
To care for your feeler gauge set, always store it in its case when not in use. Clean the blades with a clean cloth to remove any oil or debris. Avoid bending or damaging the blades as this will affect accuracy.
