Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Shake Well: Before each use, vigorously shake the 17ml jar to ensure the pigment and acrylic medium are fully integrated.
- Agitate: If mixing is difficult, open the jar and use a suitable tool to gently agitate the stainless-steel ball inside.
- Thinning: For brush application, the paint can often be used directly or with minimal thinning. For airbrush use, A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner is highly recommended for optimal flow and to prevent clogging. Adjust thinning ratios based on your airbrush and desired coverage.
Compatibility:
This paint is designed to adhere to a variety of model surfaces, including plastic, resin, and metal, typically after priming. It is compatible with other water-based acrylic paints, though testing on a small area is advised before full application to ensure no adverse reactions.
Care:
- Cleaning Brushes: Clean brushes immediately after use with water. For stubborn residue, use a dedicated brush soap or cleaner.
- Airbrush Cleaning: Flush your airbrush thoroughly with water and then with an appropriate airbrush cleaner after use.
- Storage: Store the jar in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the lid tightly sealed to prevent drying out.
