Décopatch Gesso Primer Paint - 300g

Yes, Décopatch Gesso is highly versatile and works well on most porous surfaces, including wood, cardboard, and papier-mâché.

Drying time typically depends on room temperature and humidity, but it usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes to be ready for decoration.

The product is designed for children ages 5 and up. It is not suitable for children under 36 months.

Sanding is not strictly necessary for papier-mâché, but if your surface is extremely rough, a light sanding can help achieve a smoother final finish.

It is designed as a base coat primer, but it can be tinted with small amounts of acrylic paint if you need a specific base color.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a room-temperature environment away from direct sunlight.

Allow the first layer to dry completely and apply a thin second coat in a cross-hatching pattern for better coverage.

Clean the brush thoroughly with warm soapy water immediately after you finish painting to prevent the acrylic from setting in the bristles.

Ensure you are using a slightly thicker coat or apply an additional layer, allowing for full drying time between coats.
