This Vaillant negative temperature coefficient (NTC) sensor is a genuine part designed for use with Ecotec VUW (condensing) and Guernsey/Jersey (condensing) boilers. The sensor functions by decreasing circuit resistance as temperature increases. The boiler's printed control board sends a current to the thermistor, which then determines the required heat adjustment by reading the relative resistance. This part also fits the Vaillant ecoTEC exclusive 832 (2007-201...) model. MPN: 103430
