Product Information

Full details

Red Horse Stronghorn is an essential hoof care solution designed for horse owners and equine professionals looking to strengthen and sanitize hoof tissue. By providing a nourishing and toughening effect, it acts as a superior alternative to messy paint-on treatments, offering a convenient, spray-on application that ensures thorough coverage. While highly effective at maintaining hoof integrity, users should note that the large 2500ml container is primarily intended as a refill size, requiring a separate spray bottle for daily application.

FAQs

Can this be used on the coronet band?

Stronghorn is designed for the horn tissue. Avoid direct contact with the coronet band and soft skin.

How often should I apply it?

For maintenance, most users apply it 2-3 times per week, or as directed by your farrier for specific hoof needs.

Does it need to be rinsed off?

No, it is designed to be sprayed on and left to absorb into the horn tissue.

Is the 2500ml size heavy?

Yes, it is a bulk container. We recommend keeping it in the tack room and using a smaller spray bottle for daily application.

Will this stain my clothes?

While generally safe, it is always best to wear gloves and old clothing to avoid potential staining from the active ingredients.

Troubleshooting

Spray nozzle clogging

Rinse the nozzle with warm water and ensure the liquid is free from debris before pouring into the spray bottle.

Product feels slippery on the floor

Wipe away any excess spray that lands on the stall floor or cross-tie area to prevent slipping hazards.
