Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Any imperfections can affect the final look. Remove any existing flooring and clean the surface thoroughly.
- Layout Planning: Plan your layout before installation. Measure the area and calculate the number of tiles needed. Consider the pattern and direction of the tiles.
- Installation: You can lay the tiles loose or use adhesive. If using adhesive, apply it to the subfloor according to the manufacturer's instructions. Press the tiles firmly into place.
Compatibility
These tiles are compatible with most subfloors, including concrete, wood, and existing flooring if properly prepared. Ensure the subfloor is suitable for the chosen installation method.
Care
- Regular Cleaning: Vacuum regularly to remove dirt and debris.
- Stain Removal: Use a suitable carpet cleaner or, if needed, bleach (as the tiles are bleach-cleanable) for tougher stains.
- Tile Replacement: In case of damage, simply replace the affected tile.
