The Challenge Chicane is a super fast rolling CX tyre designed to provide maximum speed and control on dry hardpack CX courses. It won't be out of place if you decide to go gravelling on your CX bike either! File tread pattern with exaggerated side tread for excellent speed and grip. 120TPI Race casing gives an incredibly smooth and supple ride. Race rubber compound and casing for excellent grip and durability. Tubeless compatible folding bead. The Chicane's file centre tread rolls incredibly well on hard-packed surfaces, will still offering excellent traction under power and when braking. Supplementing this are larger side knobs that dig in while cornering, offering a super surefooted feel on even the loosest of corners. The Race rubber compound and 120TPI also ensure the Chicane is tough enough to stand up to the rigours of CX use. RACE series are vulcanised/moulded tyres (not handmade) so more affordable. 120tpi is still a higher than normal thread count. Nylon Superlight is used on the vulcanised Tubeless Ready tyres to improve compliance and performance over the regular RACE tyres.
