While Americana Acrylics can be used on fabric, it is recommended to test on a small area first. Pre-washing the fabric and heat-setting the paint after application can improve durability.

How do I thin the paint?

Americana Acrylics are designed to be used without thinning. However, a small amount of water can be added for special effects or to thin the paint. Be careful not to add too much water, as this can affect the paint's coverage and durability.

Can I mix different colors of Americana Acrylics?

How should I store the paint?

Store the paint in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the caps are tightly sealed to prevent the paint from drying out.

Can I use this paint outdoors?

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any dust or grease. Prime porous surfaces like wood and canvas.
Application: Apply with a brush, sponge, or other suitable tools. For best results, apply in thin, even coats.
Drying Time: Allow the paint to dry completely between coats. Drying times may vary depending on the thickness of the paint and environmental conditions.
Cleaning: Clean brushes and tools with soap and water while the paint is still wet. Dried paint can be difficult to remove.
Compatibility: This paint is compatible with most surfaces, but it's always recommended to test it on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially on non-traditional surfaces.
