The Freefoam 400mm Black Ash Woodgrain Box End Board is designed for professional roofline installers and DIY homeowners who need a precise, high-quality finish where the bargeboard meets the fascia. Its primary benefit is providing a seamless, maintenance-free transition at the box end of a roof, though users should note that the 400mm width is specifically sized for larger box end requirements and may require trimming for smaller installations.

Yes, it can be cut using a fine-tooth saw to achieve the required dimensions for your specific box end structure.
Yes, the PVC construction is highly resistant to the salt-laden air found in coastal regions, provided it is installed with high-grade stainless steel fixings.
Freefoam products are engineered with UV stabilizers to resist color degradation, though some natural weathering is expected over a very long period.
This product is designed for mechanical fixing with plastic-headed nails. Adhesive should not be the primary method of support.
It is not recommended to paint the board as the woodgrain foil finish is designed to be the final surface layer.
Ensure that the fixing nails are correctly spaced and driven into the underlying timber structure rather than just the eaves felt.
Use a specialized color-matched touch-up pen designed for Black Ash woodgrain PVC to blend small marks.
For installation, ensure your timber support structure is sound and level before fixing the board. Use color-matched stainless steel plastic-headed nails to prevent corrosion and maintain the aesthetic. Compatibility is best maintained by pairing this board with the broader Freefoam black ash roofline range. For long-term care, the board is virtually maintenance-free. Periodically wash down the surface with mild soapy water to remove accumulated dirt or moss. Avoid using abrasive cleaning materials or solvents that could damage the woodgrain foil finish.
