Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Keep the unit upright during unboxing.
- Placement: Choose a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated area. Allow at least `5-10 cm` of space around the sides and back for proper air circulation. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Leveling: Use a spirit level to ensure the fridge is perfectly level. Adjust the leveling feet if necessary. This prevents vibrations and ensures proper door sealing.
- Initial Wait Time: After placement, wait at least 2-4 hours before plugging the unit into a power outlet. This allows the refrigerant to settle, preventing potential compressor damage.
- First Use: Plug into a dedicated wall outlet. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. Allow `2-4 hours` for the unit to reach optimal cooling temperatures before loading food.

Care & Maintenance
- Interior: Unplug the unit. Remove all food items and shelves. Wash shelves, drawers, and interior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For the black finish, a microfiber cloth can help prevent streaks. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Defrosting: If the freezer compartment accumulates ice, it will need to be manually defrosted to maintain efficiency. > Info needed: [confirm if manual or auto defrost].
- Unplug the unit. Remove all food. Place towels to catch meltwater.
- Allow ice to melt naturally. Do not use sharp objects to chip ice.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging back in.
- Door Seals: Regularly check and clean the door gaskets to ensure a tight seal. A dirty or damaged seal can lead to energy loss and inefficient cooling.
- Power Outages: During long power outages, keep the door closed to maintain internal temperatures for as long as possible. Consider moving sensitive items to a cooler with ice if outages are prolonged.
