Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These pens are ready to use straight out of the pack. Simply remove the cap from a pen and begin coloring. For best performance, ensure the cap is securely replaced after each use to prevent the ink from drying out.
Compatibility:
These pens are most compatible with watercolor paper or thick drawing paper designed to handle wet media. Using them on standard printer paper may result in buckling or bleed-through, despite the pens' anti-bleed properties. They can also be used on other surfaces for less intensive applications, but results may vary.
Care:
- Ink Storage: Always store pens upright or horizontally with caps on to maintain ink flow.
- Cleaning: If ink comes into contact with skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water. Most common household surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
- Tip Care: Avoid pressing too hard on the pen tip, as this can damage the nib. If the tip becomes dry, try rehydrating it by dipping it briefly in clean water (use caution and test on scrap paper first).
