Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the generator is placed on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area, away from enclosed spaces.
- Add the correct type and amount of engine oil as specified in the user manual.
- Add fresh, unleaded gasoline to the fuel tank.
- Connect your appliances using the provided outlets, ensuring not to exceed the generator's running wattage.
Compatibility:
This generator is compatible with most standard 120V AC appliances and sensitive electronics. It can directly charge mobile phones, laptops, cameras, and other digital devices. For higher power needs, two units can be connected in parallel using a compatible parallel kit (sold separately).
Care:
- Regular Maintenance: Follow the maintenance schedule in the user manual, which typically includes checking oil levels, cleaning air filters, and inspecting spark plugs.
- Storage: If storing for an extended period, use a fuel stabilizer and run the generator to ensure the fuel system is clear. Store in a dry, protected area.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure the generator is off and cool before cleaning.
