Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting the installation, ensure the stove is completely cool. Carefully remove the existing glass and inspect the door seal (rope or self-adhesive tape). If the seal is frayed or flattened, replace it to ensure an airtight closure. When positioning the new glass, ensure it sits centered within the frame. When tightening the screws, use only your fingers to secure them—over-tightening with a tool can place localized pressure on the ceramic, leading to cracks during the first heat-up. Regular maintenance includes cleaning the glass with a damp, soft cloth after the stove has cooled to prevent residue buildup from etching the surface.
