The UltraFire Heat Detector (UBH1) is powered by standard AA alkaline batteries (included), making it ideal for installation in kitchens, garages, lofts, and other areas subject to dust or fumes that would not be suitable for normal smoke alarms. This heat alarm features a large central test and hush button for easy maintenance and comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. It is CE marked and Kitemarked to BS 5446-2: 2003. Please note: Due to the replaceable batteries used in this alarm and the fact that it is not a wireless interlinked alarm, it is NOT permitted for use in Scottish homes from February 2022. Mains-operated alarms (with battery backup) and tamper-proof long-life lithium battery alarms are permitted. This alarm offers no risk of false alarms from kitchen cooking fumes, steam, and smoke, making it ideal for kitchen use. It includes two replaceable AA batteries.
