What is the warranty period for this shower set?
The Shower Set Rea Avalon comes with a 5-year warranty, covering manufacturing defects and material failures under normal use.
How do I clean the brush gold finish?
Clean the brush gold finish with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or chemicals that could damage the special coating. For tougher spots, use a cleaner specifically designed for brass finishes, following its instructions carefully.
Can I install this shower set myself?
While basic plumbing knowledge might suffice for some, professional installation by a qualified plumber is highly recommended to ensure correct setup, prevent leaks, and maintain the warranty.
What does the Anti-Calc system do?
The Anti-Calc system features nozzles designed to resist limescale buildup. This helps maintain consistent water flow and makes cleaning easier by preventing mineral deposits from clogging the spray holes.
Is the height of the shower set adjustable?
Yes, the shower set has an adjustable height. The total height is 1530 mm, and the main shower rail can be positioned to suit different user heights and preferences.
What type of valve does this shower set use?
This shower set features a ceramic control valve, known for its durability and ability to provide precise control over water temperature and flow.
Can this set be used for both a shower and a bath?
Yes, this is a shower-bath type set. It includes a spout for filling the bathtub and a showerhead for showering, with a 3-way diverter to switch between them.
Troubleshooting
Low water pressure from showerhead or spout
Check for blockages in the Anti-Calc nozzles. Ensure the 3-way diverter is fully engaged. Verify water supply and house pressure. Clean any filters within the supply lines.
Difficulty switching between shower and bath spout
Ensure the 3-way diverter is operated smoothly. If stiff, check for internal debris or limescale buildup. Professional inspection may be required.
Water dripping from the spout or showerhead when off
The ceramic control valve may require servicing or replacement. This is often due to internal wear or debris. Contact customer support or a qualified plumber.
Inconsistent water temperature
Check that the main hot and cold water supplies are balanced. Ensure the ceramic control valve is functioning correctly. Flush the system to remove any air pockets.
Finish tarnishing or discoloration
Use only recommended cleaning methods for the brush gold finish. Avoid harsh chemicals. Persistent issues might indicate a need for professional refinishing or warranty claim.
