Setup Guide
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface, away from curtains, furniture, or other flammable materials. Ensure there's adequate clear space (at least 30 cm) around all sides for proper airflow.
- Power Connection: Plug the heater's power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Power On: Use the physical controls on the device to turn it on for the first time.
- App Connection (Optional but Recommended):
- Download the Philips Air+ app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Follow the in-app instructions to connect your heater to your home Wi-Fi network and pair it with the app. This unlocks all smart features, including Eco AI and Auto Plus mode.
Compatibility
The Philips 5000 Series Smart Tower Ceramic Heater is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. For smart control, it requires a smartphone (iOS or Android) with the Philips Air+ app installed and access to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Before cleaning, always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or submerge the heater in water.
- Vents: Periodically check and gently vacuum the air inlet and outlet vents to prevent dust and debris buildup, which can affect performance and safety.
- Storage: If storing for an extended period, ensure the heater is clean and dry. Store it in its original packaging or a protective cover in a cool, dry place.
