Full details

The Bullybillows TRI-Harness is designed for pet owners struggling with dogs that pull, wander, or resist walking, offering a secure and ergonomic solution for improved control. FAQs

Can I use this harness for everyday walking?

Yes, the TRI-Harness is designed for daily use and provides comfort for long-term wear.

Is the front chest loop safe for all dogs?

The chest loop is safe for most dogs and acts as a redirection point, but always monitor your dog to ensure the fit is correct.

How do I measure my dog for this harness?

Measure your dog's chest circumference at the widest point behind the front legs and compare it to the size chart provided for the specific size variant.

Is the material machine washable?

We recommend hand washing with mild detergent to maintain the longevity of the hardware and fabric.

What is the benefit of the back loops?

The two back loops allow you to distribute lead weight or attach accessories, and they serve as an alternative control point compared to the chest loop.

Troubleshooting

Harness is rubbing the dog's skin

Loosen the straps slightly and ensure the harness is centered correctly to avoid sensitive areas.

Dog is still pulling significantly

Ensure you are using a double-ended lead attached to both the front and back loops for better redirection.

Harness feels too loose after a few minutes

Double-check that the adjustment sliders are fully locked and the straps are tensioned correctly before leaving the house.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Reduces strain on the neck by spreading pressure across the body
Avoids the sensitive underarm area to prevent chafing
Multiple D-Loops allow for customized control setups
High-quality construction designed for durability and comfort

Cons

May be overkill for dogs that already walk perfectly on a loose lead
Requires proper sizing to ensure the ergonomic fit works correctly
Requires some practice to use effectively with double-ended leads

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the harness, place it over your dog’s head and fasten the side clips. Adjust all straps to ensure a snug but comfortable fit; you should be able to fit two fingers between the harness and your dog's body. The harness is compatible with most standard leads, though it performs best with double-ended training leads for maximum leverage. To care for your harness, hand wash it using mild soap and warm water to preserve the integrity of the webbing and D-rings. Avoid abrasive brushes and always air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent material damage.
