FAQs
Is this net safe for catch and release?
Yes, the latex coating is specifically designed to be gentle on fish scales and slime layers.
Can I use this for saltwater fishing?
Yes, but ensure you rinse the net thoroughly with fresh water after each session to prevent salt corrosion.
What is the primary benefit of the latex coating?
It reduces water friction and prevents hooks from becoming deeply embedded in the mesh.
Will this net fit a standard handle?
The net features a universal thread compatible with the vast majority of standard landing net handles.
How should I clean the net?
Simply rinse with clean water and allow it to air dry in a shaded area.
Does the net float?
The net frame does not have built-in buoyancy, so take care not to drop it in deep water.
Troubleshooting
Mesh feels stiff after storage
Soak the net in warm water for a few minutes to soften the latex coating before use.
Difficulty attaching to existing pole
Check that the screw threads are clear of debris; apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if the threading feels tight.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
This landing net is a fixed-frame design and is compatible with most standard landing net poles using a universal thread. To maintain the net's performance, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after every use, especially after exposure to saltwater, to prevent mineral buildup and odors. Store the net in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the latex coating. Avoid dragging the net over jagged rocks or sharp, abrasive surfaces to prevent premature wear of the mesh.
