It is compatible with both 18V and 21V batteries and is also compatible with the LXT range. You can use your current batteries or easily find compatible ones on Amazon (compatible with BL1850, BL1860B, BL1855, BL1840, BL1830, LXT-400, BL1820B, BL1815). This die grinder features a brushless motor, which provides almost twice the battery life compared to normal brushed motors and is maintenance-free. It offers 6-step variable speed control, reaching up to 11000rpm for various applications. The grinder has a 6mm collet capacity, a control switch with a lock-on feature, and a compact barrel grip for comfortable extended use across all job types. As a Multifunction Rotary Tool, it can be used for sharpening, grinding, cleaning, polishing, cutting, engraving, drilling, and trimming with the appropriate accessories.
