Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This laminate is intended to be applied to a rigid substrate, such as MDF or plywood, using an appropriate adhesive. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust. Cut the laminate to the desired size using a fine-tooth saw or router for clean edges. Apply adhesive evenly to both the substrate and the back of the laminate, then press firmly together, working from the center outwards to eliminate air bubbles. Use a roller for even pressure. Once adhered, trim any excess with a sharp utility knife.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most standard woodworking adhesives. It can be applied to wood-based panels (MDF, particleboard, plywood) that are properly prepared. Ensure the substrate is stable and not prone to warping.
Care:
Clean the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher marks, use a mild detergent diluted in water. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the laminate surface. Wipe up spills immediately. Ensure the edges are properly sealed to prevent moisture ingress.
