Yes, the jute backing and durable construction make it well-suited for areas like living rooms and lounges.
Yes, it can be used on low-pile carpet, though a rug pad is recommended to minimize bunching.
Blot the spill immediately with a clean, white cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can damage the pile.
New rugs can have minor initial fiber shedding, which typically subsides with regular, gentle vacuuming.
The dense, plush pile is generally comfortable, but take care with pet claws to avoid snagging the carved texture.
Back-roll the edges or place heavy books on the corners for 24-48 hours to help the fibers relax.
Place a high-quality rug pad underneath the rug to provide grip and extra cushioning.
Use a vacuum cleaner with adjustable height or a suction-only attachment to prevent excessive resistance.
Upon arrival, unroll the rug and place it flat; if the edges curl, you can weigh them down with heavy books for a few hours. Because of the jute backing, this rug is compatible with most standard flooring types including hardwood, laminate, and tile. For added safety and to prevent sliding, consider using a non-slip rug pad underneath. To care for your rug, vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting to avoid damaging the fibers. Spot clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub, as this may push stains deeper into the pile.
