Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires the bike frame to have rear rack mounting eyelets near the dropouts and seat stays. If your bike lacks these, you may require additional seat post clamps.
- Begin by attaching the lower mounting struts to the frame eyelets near the wheel axle.
- Adjust the length of the upper attachment arms to ensure the rack sits level.
- Tighten all bolts securely, ensuring that the disc brake clearance is maintained without the rack touching the caliper.
Regular care involves checking that all mounting bolts remain tight after the first 50 miles of use, as road vibration can loosen fasteners over time. Clean the rack with a soft cloth and mild soap to remove road grime, and inspect the `QuickTrack` rail for any debris that might interfere with bag locking mechanisms.
