Product Information
Full details
The Costway Folding Floor Sofa Chair is designed for gamers, readers, and anyone seeking a versatile seating solution for living rooms, bedrooms, or game rooms. Its primary benefit is the combination of ergonomic comfort through thick padding and the functional flexibility provided by a 360-degree swivel base and four adjustable positions; however, it is important to note that as a floor-based chair, it does not provide the height or back support required by those who prefer traditional elevated office furniture.

FAQs
Can I use this on carpet?
Yes, the chair is suitable for use on carpet, though the swivel movement may be slightly more resistant compared to a hard floor surface.
How do I fold the chair for storage?
Push the backrest all the way forward to release the internal locking mechanism, then fold it flat against the seat cushion.
Is the base cover machine washable?
While the cover is removable for cleaning, we recommend hand washing or gentle spot cleaning to preserve the fabric's integrity.
What is the weight capacity?
The chair is designed for standard adult usage, though it is recommended to avoid sudden jumping or exceeding typical seating weights.
Does it require assembly?
No, the chair comes ready to use out of the box without the need for tools or manual assembly.
Troubleshooting
Backrest will not lock into position
Ensure the internal hinge mechanism is fully cleared of debris and that you have fully extended the backrest forward before resetting the angle.
Swivel base feels stiff or noisy
Check the underside for debris and ensure the chair is placed on a level surface; the swivel bearing may also benefit from a small amount of silicone lubricant.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Smooth 360-degree swivel functionality
- Space-saving foldable design
- Easy to clean with removable base cover
- Comfortable thick-padded construction
- Breathable fabric suitable for extended use
Cons
- Not suitable for users requiring elevated seating
- Requires floor space for setup
- Limited back support compared to high-back office chairs
Setup, Compatibility & Care
The chair is designed to be an "unfold-to-use" product, meaning it requires no complex assembly out of the box. Simply remove it from the packaging and unfold the seat into your desired position. Compatibility is universal as it does not rely on power sources or specific floor types, though it is best used on flat surfaces. To maintain the chair, ensure the breathable mesh is dusted regularly. If the base cover becomes soiled, unzip it and clean it according to standard fabric care practices. Keep the chair away from sharp objects to prevent snagging the mesh upholstery.
