Extended Product Information

FAQs

What is the minimum and maximum length of the shears?

The shears extend from a minimum length of 56cm to a maximum length of 78cm.

What types of plants are these shears best for?

They are ideal for trimming hedges, bushes, and shrubs.

How do I maintain the blades for optimal performance?

Clean the blades after each use with a damp cloth, dry them thoroughly, and apply a light coat of lubricating oil periodically. Sharpen them when they become dull.

Are the Comfort Grip Handles replaceable?

Information on replaceable handles is not provided. However, the grips are designed for durability and reduced fatigue during use.

Can these shears be used for cutting thicker branches?

These shears are designed for trimming lighter foliage. For thicker branches, a dedicated lopper or saw would be more appropriate.

How do I adjust the length of the shears?

To adjust the length, unlock the telescopic mechanism, slide the tubes to the desired position, and then re-lock the mechanism securely.

Troubleshooting

Shears are difficult to extend or retract.

Ensure the locking mechanism is fully disengaged. Clean any debris around the telescopic tubes and apply a lubricant to the sliding mechanism.

Blades are not cutting cleanly.

Check for dullness or damage to the blades. Sharpen the blades using a sharpening stone or file. Ensure no sap or debris is obstructing the cutting edge.

Handles feel uncomfortable after prolonged use.

Ensure you are using the Comfort Grip Handles as intended. Take short breaks during extended trimming sessions.

Shears feel heavy when fully extended.

This is normal due to the extended leverage. Adjust your posture and use a steady grip. Consider taking more frequent breaks if needed.
