The box is constructed from powder-coated steel and designed to be weather-resistant, protecting contents from rain and outdoor elements.
Can I mount this to the ground?

How many keys are included?
The box typically includes a set of keys for both the letter and parcel compartments; check your packaging for the complete set.
Does the LED light require batteries?
Yes, ensure you check the specific power requirements for your lighting module, as it may require batteries for operation.
What is the largest parcel size it can hold?
The internal compartment is designed to accommodate standard courier parcels; refer to the product dimensions to verify if your common deliveries will fit.
Troubleshooting
The key is difficult to turn in the lock.
Apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the key and insert it into the lock to clear any internal debris or grit.
The LED light strip fails to illuminate.
Check the power supply connection or battery compartment to ensure the contacts are clean and properly seated.
The unit feels unstable on the ground.
Ensure the surface is level and consider using a mounting kit to secure the base to the ground if your local area experiences high winds.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Robust powder-coated steel construction ensures long-term outdoor durability.
- Dual-compartment system separates standard mail from bulkier parcels effectively.
- Integrated LED light provides essential visibility after sunset.
- Secure locking system significantly reduces the risk of package theft.
- Modern grey finish complements a wide variety of home architectural styles.
Cons
- Requires a level outdoor surface for proper installation and stability.
- Freestanding unit occupies dedicated floor space near the entryway.
- Requires access to a power source or battery management for the LED lighting feature.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
For the best performance, place the unit on a flat, solid foundation such as a porch, patio, or concrete pad. Because the unit is made of powder-coated steel, it is naturally weather-resistant; however, an occasional wipe-down with a soft, damp cloth is recommended to remove dirt and maintain the grey finish. For the LED lighting, ensure that the battery or power connection is kept clear of debris. Check the locking mechanisms every few months to ensure they remain lubricated and free of grit, which keeps the key movement smooth and prevents sticking.
