Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This is a concealed thermostatic valve, meaning the main body is installed within the wall cavity. Professional installation is highly recommended due to the nature of concealed plumbing.
- Ensure the wall cavity is prepared according to the valve's rough-in requirements.
- Connect hot and cold water supplies to the appropriate inlets.
- Install the valve body securely within the wall.
- Attach the external trim, including the three dials and any associated pipework for the showerhead and bath filler.
- Test for leaks before final finishing of the wall.
Compatibility:
- Designed with UK standard size fittings, ensuring compatibility with most common plumbing systems in the United Kingdom.
- Requires a water system capable of providing adequate hot and cold water pressure for optimal performance. Check minimum pressure requirements if available.
- Suitable for use with most standard showerheads and bath fillers.
Care:
- Clean the chrome finish regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the chrome surface.
- For stubborn marks, use a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner and rinse thoroughly.
- Periodically check connections for any signs of leakage.
