FAQs
What type of riding are these gloves best suited for?
These gloves are designed for multi-use, including Mountain Biking (MTB), BMX, Scooter, and Motocross, offering a balance of grip, feel, and comfort.
How do I determine the correct size?
Refer to the provided Adult Sizing Guide. It is recommended to measure your hand circumference and length to find the best fit, as sizing can vary.
Can I use these gloves with my smartphone?
Yes, the index finger and thumb are equipped with touch screen conductive material, allowing you to operate smartphones and other touch-screen devices.
Are these gloves waterproof?
No, these gloves are designed for breathability and feel, not for waterproofing. They are suitable for dry to moderately damp conditions but are not intended for heavy rain.
How should I clean the Clarino palm?
The Clarino palm can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing to preserve its grip properties.
Do these gloves offer impact protection?
These gloves feature a minimalistic design focused on feel and control, offering basic protection. They do not provide significant impact or abrasion protection found in heavily padded gloves.
What is the 'FIST closure'?
The custom FIST closure is an adjustable system designed to securely fasten the glove around your wrist, allowing for a broad range of fitment preferences.
Troubleshooting
Gloves feel too tight or too loose.
Adjust the custom FIST closure for a more personalized fit. If the size is fundamentally incorrect, consult the sizing guide and consider exchanging for a different size.
Reduced grip or slippery feel.
Ensure the Clarino palm is clean and dry. Wipe it with a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry. Avoid using oils or excessive moisture.
Touch screen function is not working.
Verify that the conductive index finger and thumb are clean and making direct contact with the screen. Ensure your device's screen protector is not interfering.
Stitching appears to be coming loose.
Inspect the area for any minor loose threads and carefully trim them if necessary. For significant seam separation, contact customer support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Fist Handwear Chapter 28 Gloves are designed for immediate use. Simply slide them on and adjust the custom FIST closure for a snug and secure fit. Ensure the index finger and thumb align correctly if utilizing the touch screen functionality.
Compatibility: These gloves are engineered for multi-use, including MTB, BMX, Scooter, and Motocross. They are compatible with standard handlebar grips and control systems. The touch screen conductive elements work with most capacitive touch screens.
Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your gloves:
- Washing: Hand wash with mild soap in cool water. Avoid using bleach or harsh detergents.
