The Sloomy Kansas Divan Bed is ideal for homeowners seeking a stable, modern bedroom centerpiece that combines a firm platform-top base with a striking, high-profile aesthetic. This handcrafted UK-made set provides consistent support for your mattress and features a 54-inch floor-standing headboard with elegant vertical stitching to elevate your room's decor; however, potential buyers should note that the base arrives as a single, solid piece, which may require careful planning for access through tight staircases or doorways.

The headboard is a 54-inch floor-standing model, meaning it rests on the floor behind the base for maximum stability.
Yes, the platform-top base is compatible with most standard mattress types, including pocket sprung, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses.
The set comes with all necessary bolts and fixings; you may only need a standard screwdriver or Allen key depending on the specific headboard bolt type.
Yes, the chrome gliders are designed to be floor-friendly, though it is always recommended to use felt pads if you are concerned about scratching delicate surfaces.
This specific listing refers to the standard base, but the Sloomy Kansas range does include drawer-equipped variants if storage is required.
Check that all supplied headboard bolts are tightened securely to the base mounting points.
Ensure the chrome gliders are flush against the floor; if movement persists, consider using non-slip furniture pads.
Re-check the pre-fitted metal clips to ensure they are fully snapped together and locked in place.
Setup is streamlined as the base arrives fully constructed. You will simply need to position the base, attach the floor-standing headboard using the provided bolts, and ensure the headboard is securely aligned. Before ordering, verify your entry points to ensure the platform-top base will fit through doorways and up stairwells. For maintenance, vacuum the fabric upholstery occasionally using an upholstery attachment to keep the beige finish clean. If the bed shifts, ensure the metal clips are fully engaged between the base sections to maintain stability.
