Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Setting the Time: Gently pull out the crown (the small knob on the side of the case). Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hands display the correct time. Once set, push the crown back in completely to start the watch movement.
- Adjusting the Strap: The leather strap features a standard buckle closure. Adjust the strap to a comfortable fit around your wrist, ensuring it's snug but not too tight to allow for circulation and prevent marks.
Compatibility
This watch is designed for general wrist wear and complements a wide range of personal styles, from casual to business casual. Its timeless design ensures it fits effortlessly into most wardrobes.
Care & Maintenance
- Water Resistance: The watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Leather Strap Care: Leather is a natural material and can be affected by moisture, sweat, and direct sunlight. To prolong its life:
- Avoid prolonged exposure to water or direct sunlight.
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher spots, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure the strap dries completely afterward.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
- Consider occasional conditioning with a specialized leather care product (ensure it's suitable for watch straps).
- Casing and Dial: Wipe the rose gold tone stainless steel case and glass with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove fingerprints and dirt.
- Storage: When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Battery Replacement: Watches typically run on a quartz battery. When the watch stops, it usually indicates the battery needs replacement. This should be done by a professional watch repair service to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
