This kenable DC Power Extension Cable is designed for users needing to extend existing CCTV power connections or power low wattage appliances. Its primary benefit is providing a convenient 1.5m extension with a 2.1mm socket, ensuring a secure connection. A key caveat is the need to verify connector compatibility, as other DC power extension types exist.

This cable has a 5.5mm outer barrel diameter and a 2.1mm inner pin size for the socket it extends from and the plug it accepts.
This cable is rated for a maximum of 60W/60VA and is primarily intended for CCTV and low-wattage appliances. Laptops often require higher wattage, so please check your laptop's power adapter specifications before use.
Most CCTV cameras use a 5.5mm outer / 2.1mm inner DC power connector. We strongly advise checking your camera's power adapter or manual to confirm the exact connector size before purchasing.
The cable is rated for a maximum of 60W (Watts) or 60VA (Volt-Amperes).
The extension lead provides an additional 1.5 meters of length.
No, this is a DC power extension cable only and does not support data transfer.
Ensure the main power adapter is functioning. Verify that both ends of the extension cable are securely plugged in. Check that the connected device's power requirement does not exceed the 60W/60VA rating of the cable.
Inspect the moulded ends for any damage or debris. Ensure the 2.1mm plug is fully seated in the socket. Try connecting directly without the extension to rule out issues with the original power supply.
Confirm the DC connector size is correct (5.5mm outer, 2.1mm inner). If the connector size is correct, the issue may lie with the device or power supply itself.
Setup: Simply plug the male end of the extension cable into your existing DC power source (if it has a 2.1mm socket) or plug your existing DC power cable into the female socket of this extension lead. Ensure both connections are firm.
Compatibility: This cable features a 5.5mm outer barrel and a 2.1mm inner pin. It is crucial to verify that your CCTV equipment or appliance uses this specific DC power connector size before purchase. Check your device's power adapter or manufacturer's specifications for confirmation.
Care: Keep the connectors clean and dry. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Do not expose to excessive heat or moisture.
