Specific FOD Skin Function Support is designed for cat owners seeking a therapeutic dietary solution for pets struggling with environmental allergies such as dust, pollen, or flea bites. This formula leverages a potent blend of Omega-3 fatty acids and GLA to fortify the skin barrier while supporting natural inflammation response. While it offers excellent nutritional support for skin health, it is a specialized diet that should ideally be introduced under the guidance of a veterinarian to ensure it meets your cat's specific medical requirements.

Yes, this formula is balanced and safe for cats of all life stages, including growing kittens.
Most owners notice improvements in skin condition and coat luster within 4 to 8 weeks of consistent use.
While this is a specialized therapeutic diet, availability depends on local regulations; however, we strongly recommend consulting a vet before starting.
This formula is specifically designed for environmental allergies. If you suspect a food allergy, speak to your vet about specialized hydrolyzed protein diets.
Yes, but ensure the wet food is also suitable for sensitive cats so you do not dilute the therapeutic benefits of the kibble.
Mix in a small amount of warm water to enhance the aroma or combine with a tiny amount of the previous food to ease the transition.
Consult your veterinarian to ensure there are no secondary infections (like yeast or bacteria) present that require additional medical treatment.
Transitioning your cat to this diet should be done gradually over a 7-day period to prevent digestive upset. Start by mixing 25% of the new food with 75% of their old diet, slowly increasing the ratio until you are feeding 100% Specific FOD. Always ensure your cat has access to fresh, clean water, as the higher mineral content requires adequate hydration for kidney health. Store the bag in a cool, dry place and seal it tightly after each use to preserve the integrity of the essential fatty acids, which can oxidize if exposed to air for too long.
