FAQs

Does the Formula Pro work with all bottle types?

Yes, it is designed to be compatible with virtually all bottle shapes and sizes.

How often should I clean the sterilizer heating plate?

It is recommended to descale the heating plate every 2-4 weeks, depending on the hardness of your water.

Can I leave formula powder in the machine for long periods?

It is best to fill the container with only the amount needed for a day or two to keep the formula fresh and prevent clumping due to humidity.

What does the HEPA filter do?

The HEPA filter ensures that the air being blown into the sterilizer to dry your bottles is free from dust and allergens.

Is the machine dishwasher safe?

The removable parts of the sterilizer are generally dishwasher safe (top rack), but the bases of both units should never be submerged in water.

Troubleshooting

Formula Pro dispensing inconsistent amounts

Check the mixing funnel for built-up powder and clean it thoroughly; ensure the formula container is properly locked.

Steriliser not drying items completely

Ensure the ventilation slots are not obstructed and check if the HEPA filter needs to be replaced.

Water leakage from the base of the machine

Verify that the water tank is securely seated and that the nozzle at the bottom of the tank is not blocked.

Cons

Requires frequent cleaning of the mixing funnel to prevent buildup

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the system involves a one-time calibration of the formula dispenser based on your specific formula brand’s "setting number," which can be found on the Baby Brezza website.

Care Instructions:

Formula Pro: The mixing funnel must be cleaned every 4 bottles to prevent powder accumulation. Periodically wash the water tank with mild soap and water.
Steriliser: Wipe the heating plate regularly with a vinegar/water solution to remove mineral deposits and prevent buildup. Replace the HEPA filter according to the recommended manufacturer schedule to maintain drying efficiency.
