Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure the central heating system is off and cooled down. Identify the location to introduce the cleaner.
- Application: Introduce 1 litre of Calmag HV800 for up to 10 radiators, or 2 litres for larger or more heavily fouled systems. Follow the instructions on the product label for specific application methods.
- Circulation: Allow the cleaner to circulate in the system for approximately 1 hour. This can be done with the heating system's pump.
- Flushing: After circulation, thoroughly flush the system with clean water to remove all traces of the cleaner and dislodged debris.
- Refilling: Refill the system and add a Calmag HV100 Inhibitor to protect against future corrosion.
*Compatibility*: The Calmag HV800 is compatible with various types of central heating systems. Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the specific system. Check that all materials in the system are compatible with the cleaner. For instance, ensure that the cleaner is compatible with the type of metals used in your heating system.
*Care*: Store the product in a cool, dry place and keep it out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for complete safety information.
