The Varta V362 is a high-performance silver-oxide button cell battery engineered for users who require precise, reliable power for small electronic devices like wristwatches, medical instruments, and digital calculators. Its primary benefit is the combination of long-term energy stability and a leak-resistant design, ensuring your devices remain protected and powered for extended periods. One caveat to keep in mind is that this is a single-use battery, meaning it is not rechargeable and should be replaced entirely once the voltage depletes.

Yes, this battery is suitable for various small electronic applications, including many car key remotes that require this specific size.
Do not throw them in household trash. Please take them to a designated battery recycling collection point to ensure safe disposal.
Verify the battery is inserted with the correct polarity (+ facing up or down as indicated by the device casing) and ensure the contacts are clean.
Ensure the device itself is not malfunctioning, as a shorted circuit in the electronics can drain batteries much faster than normal use.
When installing the Varta V362, ensure the device is powered off. Use non-conductive plastic tweezers if possible to avoid a short circuit. Before inserting, check the compartment for any corrosion from a previous battery; clean it with a dry cloth if necessary. To ensure compatibility, always cross-reference the model number on your old battery with the V362 or its equivalents (SR721W, 362, 601, 280-29). Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children. If the device will not be used for a long time, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent potential long-term damage.
