Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your shade sail, you will need a suitable anchoring system. This typically involves mounting points such as eye bolts on a house wall, sturdy posts, or existing structures. The shade sail features Grade 304 stainless steel D rings at each corner. You will need to use strong ropes, cables, or turnbuckles (not included) to attach these D rings to your chosen anchor points. Ensure all connections are secure and that the sail is tensioned evenly to prevent sagging and water pooling. Consider the angle of the sail to allow for proper water runoff.
Compatibility: This shade sail is compatible with a wide range of anchoring solutions, provided they are strong enough to withstand the tension applied. It can be attached to various surfaces including brickwork, wood, or metal posts.
Care: The sail is made from high-density polyester (160gsm) that is rot-proof and easy to clean. For routine cleaning, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap, then rinse. For a more thorough clean, the sail is machine washable at 40 degrees Celsius. Allow the sail to dry completely before re-installing to prevent mildew.
