No, the Rapoo VT3 MAX is engineered to deliver a true 8K wireless polling rate.
Yes, it works as a standard plug-and-play device, but advanced macro customization may be limited to Windows-based software.
Use the provided USB cable to connect the mouse to your PC or a powered USB wall adapter.
No, the switches are integrated into the internal PCB and are designed for extreme longevity without the need for replacement.
Using the maximum polling rate consumes more power, so you will likely see a reduction in the total 750-hour battery life estimate.
Lower the polling rate from 8000Hz to 1000Hz in the software to verify if the issue is caused by your CPU load.
Ensure the receiver is unobstructed and within close proximity to the mouse, away from other potential 2.4GHz interference sources like routers.
Confirm that the profile is correctly saved to the mouse internal memory using the companion configuration software.
To begin using your VT3 MAX, plug the wireless receiver into a USB port on your PC—ideally a USB 3.0 port or higher for best signal integrity. Download the official Rapoo software suite to configure your button mappings, macros, and polling rate settings. When customizing, ensure the polling rate is set to 8000Hz only if your system supports the necessary processing load. To maintain the mouse, use a dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid using liquid cleaners or heavy pressure on the optical sensor. For long-term storage, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50% to maintain cell health.
