FAQs

Does this dryer need to be vented outside?

No, this is a heat pump dryer that collects water in a tank or drains via an optional hose, so no external venting is required.

Can I stack this on top of a washing machine?

Yes, but you must use a compatible stacking kit specifically designed for Hisense models to ensure safety.

What does the KitchenFit design mean?

It means the unit is designed to fit flush with standard 600mm deep kitchen base units, providing a cleaner look.

How do I reverse the door opening direction?

The door hinges are modular. Refer to the installation manual provided with your unit for step-by-step instructions on swapping the hinge position.

Is the ConnectLife app free to use?

Yes, the ConnectLife app is free to download and use for controlling and monitoring your compatible Hisense appliances.

What is the benefit of the Raindrop drum?

The surface texture is designed to gently guide clothes during the rotation, which helps reduce fabric wear and friction during the drying process.

Troubleshooting

Dryer takes too long to finish the cycle

Clean the lint filter and check the heat exchanger for debris; also ensure the room temperature is above 0°C.

Clothes are still damp after the cycle

Ensure you are not overloading the drum; check if the 'Dryness Level' setting needs adjustment for thicker fabrics.

Wi-Fi will not connect to the app

Verify your router is broadcasting on 2.4GHz and restart both the appliance's network module and your mobile device.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Flush-fitting design integrates perfectly into modern kitchens
Large 9kg capacity is ideal for family-sized laundry loads
Sensors effectively prevent clothes from becoming brittle or damaged
ConnectLife app offers convenient remote monitoring
Winter Guard feature ensures functionality in colder utility rooms

Cons

Energy efficiency class D is less economical than higher-rated models
Larger footprint requires accurate kitchen cabinet measurements
Wi-Fi setup may require stable home internet coverage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This dryer features a reversible door, which is essential for flexible installation in tight kitchen layouts or corner spaces. When installing, ensure the machine is placed on a level surface to prevent vibration. Since this is a heat pump model, it is a closed-loop system; however, it is recommended to empty the water reservoir after every cycle unless a direct drain hose is installed.

Care Tips:

Clean the lint filter after every drying cycle to maintain airflow efficiency.
Wipe down the internal drum with a soft, damp cloth periodically to remove lint buildup.
Check the heat exchanger filter every few months to ensure the system remains efficient.
Use the app to track when the machine recommends a deep cleaning cycle.
