Full details
The Beliani Sumba Garden Chair is designed for homeowners and design enthusiasts looking for a versatile seating solution that bridges the gap between indoor comfort and outdoor durability. Its standout feature is the unique rope-woven backrest combined with plush, thick cushions, providing an elevated aesthetic and physical relaxation. One important caveat is that while it is designed for outdoor use, the cushions are not waterproof, so they should be stored or covered during inclement weather to maintain their condition.

It is designed for outdoor settings, but to preserve the appearance and cushion quality, we recommend covering it or storing it during extreme weather conditions.
Can I leave the cushions out in the rain?
No, the cushions are not waterproof. They should be protected from direct rain to prevent moisture buildup and potential mildew.
How do I clean the rope material?
Clean the rope with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then rinse with fresh water and allow it to air dry.
Does the chair come fully assembled?
The chair may require light assembly, typically involving the attachment of the legs to the main seat structure.
Can this chair be used in a dining room?
Yes, its contemporary aesthetic makes it a stylish choice for an indoor dining or lounge area.
Troubleshooting
Chair feels slightly unstable on uneven ground
Check if the base of the legs has adjustable leveling feet and rotate them until the chair sits flush on the surface.
Dirt buildup in rope detailing
Use a soft-bristle brush or a handheld vacuum attachment to gently dislodge dirt from the woven sections.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the Sumba chair is straightforward and typically requires minimal assembly to attach the legs to the frame. For compatibility, the chair matches best with light-wood accessories or minimalist outdoor coffee tables.
Care Instructions:
- Frame: Regularly wipe down the rope and frame with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust or pollen.
- Cushions: To extend the lifespan of the fabric, bring cushions indoors during heavy rain or high humidity. If the covers are removable, follow the manufacturer's specific washing instructions on the internal label.
- Winter Storage: If living in an area with harsh winters, it is recommended to store the chair in a garage or shed, or use a high-quality protective furniture cover.
