Compatibility
The Fitbit Charge 5 is compatible with most iOS and Android devices. Check the Fitbit support website for the most current compatibility list.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean your Charge 5 and band to prevent skin irritation. Remove the tracker from your wrist and wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For the Black Sport Band, you can gently wash it with water and a small amount of mild, soap-free cleanser. Ensure the tracker is dry before wearing it again.
- Wearing: For accurate readings, especially for heart rate and EDA scans, wear your Charge 5 snugly but comfortably, about a finger's width above your wrist bone.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not expose your Charge 5 to strong chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the device and band.
- Water Resistance: Info needed: Specific water resistance rating (e.g., swim-proof, shower-proof) and depth limits. Generally, dry the device thoroughly after getting it wet to prevent irritation and maintain functionality.
