While the EVA material is water-friendly, the memory foam in the straps is not designed for total saturation. It is best to avoid heavy rain or complete submersion.
The platform height is 65mm, providing a comfortable amount of lift without compromising the base stability.
The Austin Slide Classic generally fits standard sizing, but if you are between sizes, it is recommended to opt for the size that best accommodates your foot length.
No, these are casual lifestyle sandals and do not provide the lateral support or traction required for hiking or uneven terrain.
Use a soft, damp cloth with a tiny amount of mild detergent. Gently spot-clean the area and wipe away any residue with a clean, damp cloth.
The memory foam will compress slightly with use; wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to contour to your foot shape.
The EVA material can become slick when wet; ensure feet are dry before wearing or wipe the surface down with a dry towel if water enters the footbed area.
These slides arrive ready to wear straight out of the box with no break-in period required due to the soft interior memory foam. Regarding care, avoid submerging them in water for extended periods to protect the memory foam integrity. To maintain the appearance, wipe the exterior straps and the EVA footbed with a damp, lint-free cloth using mild soap if necessary. Allow them to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators or intense sun, which could warp the EVA material.
