Setup, Compatibility & Care
Planting:
Recommended planting months are February–June and September–November. For optimal results, dig a hole twice as deep and three times as wide as the plant's rootball. If your soil is heavy, mix in a soil improver. You may add a plant feed at this stage. Place the plant in the hole so it is level with its previous pot, firm the soil around it, and water thoroughly.
Care:
Keep the shrub well watered and fed during its establishment period. If needed, trim the plant in the summer to maintain its desired shape. Ensure the planting location receives full sun and the soil is fertile and well-drained.
Compatibility:
This shrub is compatible with most garden soils, provided they are well-drained. It is particularly well-suited for coastal gardens and can be integrated into mixed borders or used for hedging.
