FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the mirror?
The mirror measures H60 x W60 x D1cm.
Does the mirror come with hanging hardware?
No, hanging hardware is not included. You will need to supply appropriate fixings for your wall type.
Can this mirror be used outdoors?
While the description mentions 'Garden outdoor mirror' as a potential location, this mirror is generally intended for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to outdoor elements may cause damage.
How do I clean the reflective tiles?
Gently wipe the tiles with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher smudges, use a mild glass cleaner applied to the cloth, not directly to the mirror, and then buff dry.
Is the reflection perfectly clear?
The mirror features beveled glass and a tiled frame, which contribute to its decorative effect. The reflection is functional for general use but may have slight distortions due to the design elements.
What is the weight of the mirror?
The mirror weighs approximately 6kg.
Can I hang this mirror in a bathroom?
Yes, it can be used in a bathroom, but ensure it is not placed where it will be in constant direct contact with water or excessive steam, and always wipe dry after cleaning.
Troubleshooting
Mirror arrives damaged
Inspect the packaging upon arrival. If the mirror is damaged, contact the retailer immediately with photographic evidence for a replacement or refund.
Difficulty finding suitable wall fixings
Consult with a local hardware store or professional installer to determine the best fixings for your specific wall type (e.g., plasterboard, brick, masonry) to ensure secure mounting.
Uneven reflection due to tiled surface
The tiled design inherently creates an artistic, fragmented reflection. This is a design feature, not a defect. For a perfectly flat, undistorted reflection, a standard mirror would be more appropriate.
Cleaning leaves streaks
Ensure you are using a lint-free cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Wipe dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent streaks.
