Full details

The Honeyberry Blue Banana, Lonicera caerulea edulis, is a vigorous grower which produces abundant large banana shaped berries. This is one of the sweetest honeyberry varieties available and they are perfect for eating fresh, freezing and juicing. This plant will make a great addition to your garden and the fruits are full of natural antioxidants for your wellbeing! Plant in moist, well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter. This plant prefers sandy, loamy and clay soils. As with most fruit and berry plants, the Honeyberry plant does also need a good exposure to sunlight, it does not fruit so well in the shade. Ensure that the soil remains moist but not overly wet, particularly after planting. Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Honeyberry Blue Banana (Lonicera caerulea edulis) is a delightful addition to any garden, offering both ornamental beauty and delicious berries.
