FAQs
Can I use plastic-tip darts with this board?
No, this is a sisal fiber board designed specifically for steel-tip darts. Plastic tips will not penetrate the material effectively.
How high should I mount the board?
The regulation height for the center of the bullseye is 5 feet 8 inches from the floor.
What is the best way to clean the board surface?
Avoid water. Use a soft, dry cloth or a gentle brush to remove dust or stray sisal fibers.
Is the number ring removable?
Yes, the steel number ring is designed to be removed and rotated so you can shift the board to distribute wear.
What is the diameter of the board?
The board is the official tournament size with an 18-inch diameter.
Troubleshooting
Darts are falling out of the board
This often happens if the board is new and the fibers are too tight; the board will soften with regular use. Ensure you are using the included steel-tip darts.
Cabinet doors do not close properly
Check that the cabinet is mounted level on the wall. If the wall is slightly bowed or the mounting is skewed, the doors may misalign.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Installation: Use the provided mounting hardware to attach the cabinet to a sturdy wall stud. Ensure the back of the cabinet sits flush against the wall for stability.
- Board Care: To maximize the lifespan of your board, rotate it every few weeks. Shift the board so that the most-used segments are moved to a less active position. Avoid moisture contact, as sisal fibers can swell if exposed to water.
- Dart Maintenance: Regularly check the points of your steel-tip darts. If they become dull or develop burs, use a sharpening stone to keep them in peak condition, which helps them penetrate the sisal cleanly without tearing it.
