Can the fabric covers be removed for washing?
The chair features a reversible cushion for easy maintenance, but the main upholstery is not designed for machine washing.
Is the rocking motion adjustable?
No, the rocking motion is determined by the fixed curve of the solid oak rockers and is managed manually by the user.

The chair measures 76 x 85.5 x 81.7cm and the matching footstool measures 55 x 40 x 35cm.
Is the rocking base safe for all floor types?

Where is this chair manufactured?
Each Hilson Nursing Chair is proudly made to order in the United Kingdom.
Troubleshooting
The chair feels uneven or rocks poorly
Ensure the chair is on a perfectly level floor surface and that there are no rugs or floor obstructions beneath the oak rockers.
Visible dust or debris on the oak base
Wipe the solid oak legs with a soft, dry lint-free cloth to maintain the natural wood finish.
Stains or light spills on the seat
Flip the reversible seat cushion to hide the blemish and spot clean the affected side using an approved upholstery foam or mild soap solution.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
This item is delivered as a finished piece of furniture. Ensure you have clear access to your chosen nursery location before delivery, as the chair and footstool are substantial pieces. Position the rocking base on a flat, level surface to ensure smooth movement and avoid scratching your flooring.
Compatibility
Its neutral brown finish is designed to complement a wide range of nursery color palettes. Due to the chair's footprint of 76 x 85.5 x 81.7cm, it is best suited for medium-to-large sized rooms where you can fully utilize the rocking motion without obstruction.
Care
- Regularly dust the solid oak base with a dry, soft cloth.
- Use the reversible cushion feature to distribute wear evenly.
- For spills, spot clean the fabric immediately using a mild, fabric-safe upholstery cleaner.
- Periodically check the base and leg fasteners to ensure they remain secure after heavy use.
